Dedicated to the memory of Kerry Newman

This site is a tribute to Kerry Newman, who was born on September 16, 1981. She is much loved and will always be remembered.

Kerry was a caring, funny, adventurous and much loved person. Anyone who spent more than five minutes with her knew that she was a genuine and kind soul.

She will be sorely missed by so many people and she will live on in good memories and feelings of happiness.

I made a promise to Kerry before she passed away. I promised her that I would never let Erin and Saoirse forget her. I will keep this promise and I will make sure that they feel the love from their mummy in everything I do.

I miss you so much Kerry. Thank you for always being there for me. You are the best x

Thoughts

Hey Kerry. It's been a year. Shit! We all miss you so much. X The kids are doing really well. Erin is really loved by her friends (and their parents) everybody telling me how funny, loving and polite she is. Wonder where she gets that from. She got house captain at school in a whole school vote. She is out at party's, with her friends and youth clubs all the time these days. We talk about you all the time. Saoirse has settled into school really well. Got a call for parents evening yesterday. Teacher said she is great at everything really! Although a bit chatty. Wonder where she gets that from! She's so good and getting very independent. Both of them have been amazing the last year, they have helped me so much and I see how much your personality has imprinted on them. You were a fucking amazing mum and I hope I can emulate that. I've struggled this year. Obvs! But I have had a lot of help from my mum and Tanya and your mum has been great helping out during holidays in Brighton. I've sorted work out and hours. Saoirse is in aftercare until about 16.15 and Erin is good enough to go home, look after herself and have a dance til I get back at 16.30. We got 2 cats and we did go with Meatball for Erin's one. So the name stuck. Saoirse's one is called Mittens. They are very loving cats. So not too much scratching (well apart from the wallpaper, the couches, my red velvet computer chair, plastic bags, school bags, door frames) They are good cats and the kids and them chill out together most nights. Anyway, I'm gonna have a beer and listen some of your crap music for a bit. Love you x

You always made sure whoever was around you was happy, you always put other people first. You had a caring approach that is a rare find and I will always appreciate the time you gave me to speak about whatever was happening. I have great memories of us singing karaoke, days out with girls, sharing Christmas dinners and exchanging presents. It was an honour to have known you and a privilege to be the uncle of these two beautiful girls you brought into this world. I will miss you. Alex

Kerry, a true brighton girl ! So funny , so warm , I always loved seeing you through lisa and jamie ... you'd bring an instant smile to my face and I would always laugh so mucn around you. You were one of those rare people that just about anyone could feel comfortable and relaxed around , because there were no heirs or Graces (just like your mum and nan and jamie ). A truly lovely family and i was honoured to know you , directly Years ago, and indirectly via lisa and Jamie in more recent years. Your beautiful girls are full of your spirit and I know they will have you as their guardian angel for the rest of their lives. They will always remember their beautiful, kind, full of fun and positivity mummy and will carry those traits on for sure. You will be missed and forever in so many of our hearts . All our love ,josie ,matt and kiddies xxxxxx
